Amouage Silver Oud Fragrance Sample

Silver Oud was released in 2021 as part of The Library Collection.  Woody, deep, smoky. Instead of using light, citrus top notes to mix with the oud, this fragrance uses typical base notes instead. This gives oud a coolness rather than the usual warm feeling. Vanilla at the heart lifts things without taking it into a too sweet direction. A modern masterpiece.

Top notes are Cypriol Oil, Virginia Cedar and Patchouli.

Middle notes are Oud and Madagascar Vanilla.

Base notes are Guaiac Wood, Birch, Castoreum and Amber.
